Our Story
Banoo began with a single bridal commission stitched at a kitchen table in Birmingham.
Today we work with karigars in Lahore and Karachi whose families have embroidered for three generations, pairing their zardozi and dabka work with silhouettes cut for how women dress in Britain today. Nothing leaves the atelier until it has been pressed, finished and checked by hand.
We produce in small runs. It means waiting lists, and it means you rarely see your outfit worn across the room. That is the point.
